Ed Horley
As one of the Co-founders of HexaBuild, focused on advancing cloud, IoT and security with IPv6, Ed Horley leads the technical sales and vision of the company. Prior to HexaBuild Ed was Vice President of Engineering at Groupware Technology and was responsible for the Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Engineering teams. His focus was on the development and strategic direction of the engineering organization to deliver innovative and unique solutions for customers. A 20-year IT industry veteran, he has demonstrated his ability to help customers achieve results while providing thought leadership on the most effective ways to leverage technology.
Prior to his role as a VP of Engineering, Ed was the Practice Manager for Cloud Solutions with extensive expertise in the design and deployment of cloud solutions. Ed is a well-known advocate and educator for the IPv6 protocol and is a featured speaker at networking and IT conferences around the world. He authored Practical IPv6 for Windows Administrators from Apress and has also authored several IPv6 courses for Pluralsight. He is on the Technical Advisory Board for Infoblox in their IPv6 Center of Excellence and blogs on a regular basis for their community website on IPv6. Ed is the co-chair of the California IPv6 Task Force and has been actively involved with IPv6 for well over a decade. Ed graduated from the University of the Pacific with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
